It’s nice to see video games be recognized among other forms of entertainment. It’s also nice to see a well-deserved nomination for a game that truly deserves it. That’s the case here with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow’s soundtrack, but it actually took home the award.
The IFMCA has just released their list of winners for their awards this year, and yes, Lords of Shadow’s soundtrack won the award for ‘Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media’. Oscar Araujo has been properly awarded here for his work on the game’s amazing soundtrack.
You know a soundtrack is superb when it’s still resting in your laptop/mp3 device. Wouldn’t it be amazing to get an album composed of remixed classic vania music from Araujo?
