I’ve said this many times, but with this current console generation coming to an end, I can still say that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is my favorite game of this entire generation. It’s a game I always revisit and fall in love with over and over again. It’s a true masterpiece and it received the first 10 I ever gave a game here on the site. If you haven’t checked it out yet, and you’re a fan of not just Castlevania but the action adventure genre, you should definitely go out and get the game. Now! Especially with the upcoming Lords of Shadow 2 set for release this winter.
Pretty soon the original game will be introduced to a whole new audience: the PC gamers. Steam has just revealed the release date for the upcoming “Ultimate Edition” of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It’ll be hitting the service on August 27. A new trailer was also released for the upcoming PC exclusive edition, which compiles the full game with its two extra DLC packs. You can check that and a gallery of gorgeous screens below! Damn, I think I’m going to invest in a gaming PC now…
