Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition whips its way to PC on August 27th. The game can be pre-purchased at a 10% discount, bringing the total down to $26.99. Bundled with both epilogue DLC chapters (AKA the real ending), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition seems to be honoring its namesake. Reports from those playing the demo (available now) with mid-tier graphics cards have stated that the demo performs exceptionally well, maintaining a high framerate throughout.
I tried out the demo and the game has never looked better. While the graphic settings are a bit thin, with a lot of options missing, Climax Studios and Mercury Steam were able to produce a wonderfully optimized PC port. I personally hope it sells well, prompting Konami to give the PC platform more support. I wouldn’t mind seeing Punished Snake and Murphy Pendleton on a platform that would make them look so good.
