The day has finally come. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, the second part of MercurySteam’s Castlevania trilogy, is now out exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. An eShop version is also available.
Sadly, there’s no ultra cool Belmont-whipped-bloodshot-red-Dracula-butt 3DS bundle available. But hey, what can we do, right?
I’ve spent a few hours with the game already, so you can expect my review to be up towards the end of the week (maybe a little sooner). I’m totally loving it. Like I’ve said many times, the original Lords of Shadow continues to be my favorite game this generation, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Mirror of Fate dethrones it.
The funny thing is, I could’ve already completed the game if it wasn’t for the sneaky mailman. My review copy was actually outside my house since Saturday and I only found out yesterday. Let’s just say the mailman hid the package in quite a weird place. Hey, at least that prevented it from being stolen! But still, I wouldn’t have expected it to be left where it was…
There’s now one less mailman in my town.
