Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 may not be the best in the Lords of Shadow trilogy (for me, that honor goes to Mirror of Fate), but it’s still a great game. It has its issues, but overall, the experience is memorable and a great addition to the series. You can check out my review here.
Alucard has played an amazing role in the Lords of Shadow trilogy, with his treatment in Mirror of Fate resulting in my favorite version of the iconic character. I won’t spoil anything, but I love how his role played out in Lords of Shadow 2 as well. Though I was left wanting more. So this news makes me really happy.
Fans have uncovered text that is most likely referring to upcoming DLC for the game, titled “Revelations,” which stars the son of Dracula himself, Alucard. The text reads:
“The immersive story is expanded further as new branches of the plot are uncovered, along with rich new environments and challenging puzzles. Fight creatures of darkness and discover the true extent of Alucard’s involvement in Dracula’s story, his deal with death and his fight against Satan. Experience a whole new aspect of the thrilling conclusion to the ‘Lords of Shadow’ saga, including some enlightening revelations!”
Also, fans have been able to uncover an audio file in the game’s demo code titled, “Alucard DLC.” So, yeah, I think it’s safe to expect this DLC in the months to come.
