Castlevana: Lords of Shadow 2 is going to pack quite a musical punch, just like the franchise is known for. The game’s music is a product of the largest orchestra to ever be used for a video game. I recently got a chance to sit down and listen to the soundtrack in its entirety (look out for my review soon!), and I can tell you that’s it beautiful and continues to show why Oscar Araujo is one of the best composers working in video games today.
The soundtrack will officially be released by Sumthing Else Music Works on February 25th, right alongside the game. You’ll be able to purchase it in physical or digital form. The Director’s Cut edition of the soundtrack will be available exclusively through Sumthing Else Music’s website (linked below), and with it you’ll get extra tracks. If you’re a video game music aficionado then you’re definitely going to want to add this to your collection. It’s another shining collection of music from the Castlevania series.
