Capcom to Sponsor Zombie Protest

So we’ve heard of zombie walks, how about zombie protests?  Capcom is set to host a protest for The Citizens for Undead Rights and Equality (CURE).  The walk is going to take place in The Olde Palace Yard, across from the London House of Parliament on August 30, 2010.

CURE has a list of demands, fighting for zombie equality.  Here are just a few of them.

–to permit the marriage of the living and the undead

–to increase the minimum statutory retirement age to beyond death

–to make cemeteries more comfortable for their inhabitants.

Alright, so maybe the rights there are something that some of us might cringe a little bit at.  But good times should be had by all.  If you’re interested in going, you’ll receive a nice t-shirt.  The best-dressed zombie will win a game console as well (no word on ‘which’ game console yet, but a game console!).

You can read more about the walk at CURE’s website.  CURE would like to let you know that even though zombies’ choice of sustenance happens to be…other people, this is a good-natured, fun walk.  If you want to dress up and attend, please be sure to register by sending an e-mail to votecure@googlemail.com.
