Devil May Cry 5 has been out for a little over a week now, giving fans plenty of time to get familiar with Dante’s latest underworld adventure. With seven difficulties and a host of collectibles and secrets to hunt down and unlock, even the most intrepid Devil Hunters would have a hard time saying there isn’t enough content in Devil May Cry 5. While one major mode, the fan-favorite Bloody Palace, was missing at launch, fans won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on it.
Capcom announced today via Twitter that Bloody Palace would be arriving as a free update for all Devil May Cry 5 players on April 1st. While no other details were given, including if any of the rumored DLC characters would be making playable appearances, it is nice to have some confirmation for the mode’s release date.
You can check out the tweet down below.

Bloody Palace has been a series staple since Devil May Cry 2, pitting players against hundreds of levels worth of enemies to conquer. While I spent my fair share of time in Devil May Cry 4‘s Bloody Palace, I’m particularly looking forward to seeing what the mode is like in Devil May Cry 5. With Nero’s new moves, V’s new gameplay system, the ability to customize Dante’s loadouts, plus the superior enemy design present in the main game, Devil May Cry 5‘s take on the series staple mode should provide plenty of additional replay value for fans looking to dive in again.
