IGA’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is quite the Kickstarter success story. The famed developer is hard at work with his team making sure this game lives up to what fans have come to expect from him after years working on the Castlevania series with Konami.
As of this writing, the game’s Kickstarter has surpassed $3.5 million dollars. And that number is just going to keep on rising. With that being said, the project has achieved one of its higher-tier stretch goals: a PlayStation Vita port.
Said Vita port, developed with guidance by Armature, will come with its own batch of neat features. One of the goals is to allow players to export the game’s music to their Vita’s music library. The team is also attempting to allow for PS4 cross save functionality. Like the Wii U version, touch screen support is also planned for this portable edition, as well as PlayStation TV compatibility.
