In a move that probably no one could have predicted, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is back and is now being developed by The Chinese Room.
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2‘s development was absolutely riddled with disasters and setbacks. The game was initially planned to release in 2020 but hasn’t seen the light of day again, until now.
Development studio The Chinese Room, known mostly for Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture andAmnesia: A Machine for Pigs, joined the project in 2021, and have made substantial progress.
At Pax West, Paradox Interactive revealed an in-game post-alpha trailer for the freshly resurrected Bloodlines 2, the sequel to the 2004 original.
In the trailer, we can see some hand-to-hand vampire action; bloody, brutal and fast. It’s hard to judge from what little we have seen thus far, but the new footage looks like it’s enough to get everyone excited for the title again.
Bloodlines 2 will have a gameplay reveal in January 2024, with a release date planned for Fall 2024. You can already wishlist the game right here.
