Nintendo fans are excited over a new horror project titled “Project M” for the Switch, speculated to be developed by Bloober Team. Known for psychological horror games like The Medium, Bloober Team has gained a reputation for creating immersive and spine-chilling experiences.
In a recent interview with PAP Biznes, Bloober Team’s CEO, Piotr Babieno, shared insights about their latest endeavor Babieno emphasized the project’s significance despite its smaller budget, saying:
Project M, although its budget is significantly smaller than the games we are working on at Bloober Team, is extremely important due to our long-term plans. In addition, we are working on it in cooperation with the world’s best game creators for Nintendo platforms, so we cannot afford to create just a decent game.
The developer’s history with Nintendo includes titles like Layers of Fear: Legacy and Observer, both well-received for their atmospheric storytelling and psychological depth. This new collaboration has fans speculating that Bloober Team might be behind the recently teased horror game Emio.
With Bloober Team’s track record and the backing of Nintendo, “Project M” promises to be a noteworthy addition to the Switch’s library. As more details emerge, the gaming community eagerly awaits what this partnership will bring to the world of horror gaming.
