In a sly comment that really left no one surprised, Blizzard’s Josh Mosqueira talked to Polygon concerning the up-and-coming expansion for Diablo 3‘s PC release, and commented that, while their “philosophy has always been we work on one project at a time”, “We’ve got Diablo 3 on PC, we released it and then a small team splintered off to work on Diablo for the current consoles. Now the team’s really focused on Reaper of Souls for PC. So if you look at the past, you can probably infer what the future might bring.” He also added that “We don’t have any announcements at this point”.
Diablo 3‘s console port is Blizzard’s first (finished, in theory) console release since StarCraft 64, since StarCraft: Ghost was sadly shelved (although it looked awesome! I even got to play it once), and it comes as no surprise that Blizzard would wish to re;ease the DLC for the console port. Diablo 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3 will release in two weeks time.
