Well, that didn’t take long. If you were like me, a little bummed that the most recent psychological survival horror Blair Witch game was an Xbox One-exclusive and that you’d have to wait who-knows-how-long for a port, then your prayers have been answered. The wait is over.
The game’s developer Bloober Team (Layers of Fear, Observer) just announced that Blair Witch will be available digitally for the PS4 on December 3rd, 2019 for $29.90, with a physical edition set to release at a later date. In addition to new gameplay and technical enhancements, this release will include the “Good Boy Pack” which will allow players to customize their canine companion Bullet with a variety of skins and animations. The pack also includes new in-game cellphone games, wallpapers and other content. Xbox One and PC players will be able to purchase the pack separately the same day as the PS4 edition’s release.
Blair Witch was originally released on the Xbox One and PC on August 30, 2019, and was met with a generally positive critical reception. Our own CJ Melendez really loved it. You can read his full review here.
