Last night the BAFTA awards ceremony took place in London and Quantic Dream’s PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain took home 3 wins. The interactive film took home the awards for “Original Music”, “Techinical Innovation”, and “Best Story”.
While this is sure to cause some debate between gamers one can’t deny that Heavy Rain provided a unique experience admist expected genre releases at the time of its launch. Heavy Rain provided something different and it proved to be quite a memorable experience regardless of what nitpicks gamers may have against it. It even got Playstation Move compatibility which fulfilled Quantic Dream’s intentions for the game, game-play wise. How do you guys feel about these wins? Are they well-earned?
