Asylum reaches kickstarter goal

Senscape, the indie developer behind the cult classic Scratches is nearing the final stages of development on their next project Asylum. Hot off the heels of a successful Greenlight campaign, Senscape took to kickstarter so that the team could get proper funding behind the project. All money previously poured into the project was coming directly from the team’s own wallets, and they could only work on the game in their spare time.

With less than 48 hours to go, the Asylum kickstarter has surpassed it’s $100,666 goal, congratulations to Senscape and everyone involved! Senscape has already stated that the goal of the kickstarter was to provide the team with enough funding necessary so they could focus on completion of the game’s development. They want to get the game out before the end of the year and now that they’ve reached their kickstarter goal, we can only hope this is still a likelihood.

Interested in pledging despite the kickstarter goal having been met? You should be, there’s 30+ hours left to support development of this extremely promising horror title. So head over to the Asylum kickstarter page, while you’re at it check out the interactive teaser as well.
