Asylum Jam now finished, enjoy the results

The Asylum Jam, an indie gaming jam wherein the participants were challenged with creating a horror game without relying on the clichés like asylums, psych wards, and evil doctors, ended on October 13th.

If you go to the website now, there are 50+ submissions that you can either play in-browser or quickly download to your desktop.  The games consist of varying completion and quality, with a plethora of different ideas exhibited. Some of them are just small vignettes, while others have a bit of length to them. My favorite one is probably Sea Nothing, due to my childhood fear of being underwater in video games (expect to hear more about this in the future…) and since it’s a unique little concept.  Check it out!

And I’d be remiss not to shamelessly plug the game that our friend Tobiichi Karlsson (from Bossdungeon.com),  Tommy Walkerocious, and myself worked on, ESCAPE. I had a great time providing the voice acting and theme song. I hope you all enjoy it!
