We’re approaching the release of Umbrella Corps. For a long while, many assumed that would be the only game Capcom would offer to commemorate Resident Evil’s 20th anniversary. Well, it looks like there’s more planned.
In their recent investors reports (as spotted by NeoGAF user Chobel), Capcom specifically states how Umbrella Corps is a “warm up to the full-scale offensive planned for the second half of the year.”
The fiscal year ends on March 31, 2017, so we can most likely expect a huge announcement at E3 for what comes next. My money is on it being Resident Evil 7. Seems like a safe bet, right?
