Another 50 games greenlit for Steam

Greenlight

No, you did not travel two weeks back in time, this is the second batch of Greenlight game this month. I kind of want to question the use of a system like Greenlight if we are just going to let a hundred games pass each month, but at least it gives us some neat horror games to talk about. This batch included four horror games, so let’s get to them!

In the adventure genre we have two titles this time around: The Last Cargo and Hidden. The Last Cargo might be offensive to some people, since it deals with a lot of religious themes and indoctrination; it follows a wheelchair-bound man and has you navigate him through scary environments while avoiding monsters and obtaining the resources needed to survive. Hidden, on the other hand, is a point&click adventure game about an expedition gone horribly wrong. It features lots of grim areas, a mature story and plenty of puzzles.

If all those puzzles aren’t your thing, then Dead Effect might be interesting for you, because it’s a first-person shooter that takes place aboard a spaceship filled with zombies. Some of you might recognize the game, since it’s ported over from mobile devices, but the PC version promises to features a lot of new content. Finally, there is Woolfe – The Red Hood Diaries, a dark reimagination of the classic Little Red Riding Hood fairytale that has nothing to do with American McGee, but features a combination of fighting and platforming that is very reminiscent of his Alice series.
