An Alien: Isolation sequel has been discussed

sexy

Alien: Isolation is my pick for not only horror game of the year, but also game of the year in general. It was an amazing experience and one of the best survival horror games I’ve played in quite a while. So when word circulates about a potential sequel, I’m beyond giddy.

Speaking to AvPGalaxy, Creative Assembly Lead Designer Gary Napper spoke about how his team would go on about handling the story for a potential sequel to Alien: Isolation.  He stated the following:

“The plot for a sequel is a daily topic in the studio sometimes. People have their own ideas for where it should go, our writers have some solid concepts and yes, we do have a great opportunity to continue her story. I personally think that Amanda did not get infected in the hive, as when she wakes, the closest egg remains closed…”

One thing that’s sure to make fans quite happy is the fact that the team will once again go with a very intense, solitary experience, as opposed to a bombastic sequel ridden with action around every corner. On that topic he states:

“If we made a sequel I would like to stick to the same terrifying single Alien approach but do more with the environment and interactivity within it.”

Sounds good to me!
