American McGee’s Grimm has always been a more obscure creation, never attaining the popularity of Alice or the Kickstarter love of Akaneiro‘s many versions of Little Red Riding Hood. Hopefully the reemergence of the series will finally give the cynical dwarf the spotlight he deserves.
A lot of people probably already got the game on GOG, since the DRM-free storefront has already been selling the game for about two months, but for many this will still be their first introduction to the series that originally started in 2008. The goal in each episode is to enter familiar fairytales as a dwarf named Grimm and restore them to their dark roots.
The episodes can be bought in a bundle for $9.99 or obtained separately for $0.99 a piece. Those looking to get the game cheaper should check out GOG who sells the bundle at the same price, but does not change it based on what region you are from.
