It seems that Amazon will also offer some preorder weapons for Silent Hill Downpour. The ‘Pistol 45’ and the ‘Baseball Bat’ weapons are now listed along with a $10 bonus credit for preordering the game.
Well, there’s no medieval weaponry here, but that $10 credit sounds pretty nice. That’s easy money!
I’m not all too sure why these preorder items are all weapons in a game about survival. Don’t weapons have a limited use because of durability? Call me a lame, but I’d much rather an Xbox Avatar item or Playstation Network content. That way it won’t make the game easier nor segregate gamers who buy the game elsewhere. Now let’s wait and see if Best Buy or another retailer reveals their own exclusive soon. Amazon will be tough to beat.
