A Youtube uploader by the name of matriXIncorporated made the news earlier today when he uploaded a video containing animation work for the cancelled Aliens RPG, Aliens: Crucible.
The game was been produced by Obsidian Entertainment between 2006 and 2009, but was eventually cancelled due to Obsidian reconsidering what type of games they want to release. Obsidian was previously responsible for games like Fallout: New Vegas, Alpha Protocol and my favorite, Neverwinter Night 2. Whether or not the game will ever see the light of day remains unknown for now.
I did a little digging and found out that the uploader has more videos, some of which are also recordings from alpha-builds of other games. I initially thought the video might be fake, but everything points towards this been legit. Did this person work at Obsidian? Does he have sources in the industry? Did he hack into their network? I don’t know, but boy do we have a mystery on our hands here.
