cjmelendez_Aliens: Colonial Marines will not just be set after the events of the classic Alien films, but also be filled to the brim with nods and remnants of the past. OPM UK had a sit down with the most recent build of the title, and they’ve noted many neat things for old and new fans of the series.
Players will revisit key locations from the films with nods to past. Bishop’s milky blood trail from the first film; the drop ship from Aliens that housed Ripley, Newt, and Hicks; and the announcement of running into characters from the films was revealed.
It’s a shame that Ripley can’t possibly make an appearance due to killing herself along with the Xenomorph baby, in Alien 3, but it’s nice to know that fan service will be plentiful. Let’s just hope the actual game will be worth playing.
