Alien Isolation screens leak from the vents of SEGA

It looks like the material that we have on Alien Isolation has gone from nothing to something; Eurogamer has confirmed that four screenshots that leaked onto Twitter by user “lifelower” are from Creative Assembly’s upcoming Alien game.

The four screenshots reveal what players can expect the game to look like. Graphically and stylistically, the game doesn’t look half bad. The ship interior that the screens show off shares much in common with the design and aesthetics from the Alien films, complete with some nice lighting effects that set the mood for another “in space no one can hear you scream” tale. SEGA declined to comment on the legitimacy of the screens, but Eurogamer’s sources confirmed with them that these are indeed from the upcoming game.

Hot off the heel’s of SEGA’s infamous Colonial Marines, the latest video game adaption of the Alien / Aliens series tells the previously unheard of story of Amanda Ripley and her encounter with the Xenomorph species that defined her mother’s life. Like mother, like daughter, the lesser known Ripley is expected to encounter a Xenomorph. Other than that, story details are thin – due to all of the info that we have on the game being from leaks. Hopefully SEGA officially unveils the game soon, so we can determine whether or not to be excited by the idea of a new Alien game.
