Alien: Isolation “Creating the Cast’ trailer offers a look at Amanda and company

SEGA has dropped a brand new developer diary for the upcoming Alien: Isolation. This time, instead of discussing the game’s gameplay or horror themes, we’re given a direct look at Amanda and her fellow survivors aboard the Nostromo. A cutscene from within the game is shown where Amanda is questioned by a fellow Weyland-Yutani employee about her intentions to search for her mother after her disappearance 15 years prior.

Amanda’s sole threat will not be the Xenomorph as it has been stated that there will be fellow survivors that will do whatever they need to do to survive. I guess we’ll be seeing some aggressive humans after all? Hopefully not many shooty ones as once rumored.

The dev diary also goes on to show that The Creative Assembly is scanning their voice cast into the game to have matching faces with the performers.

Here’s hoping we learn a bit more about Amanda Ripley in the next dev diary. I’d like to know a bit about her life since her mother’s disappearance and there’s still a lot of time for that as Alien: Isolation will not be in stores until October 8th.
