cjmelendez_Remedy has announced today that the upcoming Alan Wake: American Nightmare will contain a horde-like mode called “Fight till Dawn”. The newly announced mode will pit Alan against waves of enemies to rack up a score. Safe houses, ammo, and a slew of new weapons will be at Alan’s disposal. One of these new weapons is an Uzi.
Also released by the company were a few new screenshots and an extended trailer. So far, I think the game is looking good. The color palette has received a few new vibrant colors, and the game seems to be a bit more frantic with all of these new enemy types.
Here’s hoping American Nightmare brings more mind bending scenes like those seen in The Writer when it releases early next year.
