“I’m going to tell you a secret.
There are places in our world
Where fiction and dreams can come
true. Powered by the dark
energies leaking from beyond.
These places are a battlefield in
a war between the powers of light
and darkness.”
Remedy also opts that this teaser tells what the game is about. Looking at it, it’s obvious this game will take place in the dark place, the mention of fiction does suggest that the dark place will take on the role of fictional work Alan has previously worked on (like Night Springs and Alex Casey), it also seems to suggest we’ll learn more about the Dark Place and a bigger focus on a war of sorts between the light and the dark. A lot of Alan Wake news is coming very shortly, so stay tuned!
