It’s been way too long since we’ve seen Alan Wake. Sure, most recently, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare became available as a backwards compatible game on Xbox One, but we haven’t had an actual sequel at all. So I say the following with a big smile on my face: that might change.
Remedy has applied for the trademark “Alan Wake’s Return.” That right there makes it quite possible that a sequel may be coming our way. Couple that with the fact that the Xbox edition of Quantum Break (Remedy’s upcoming Xbox One/PC exclusive) will come with a digital copy of Alan Wake and several nods to that game, it looks like we’re finally about to get our wishes fulfilled.
