We’ve got some great news here. Remedy Entertainment recently announced via Twitter that their cult-classic Alan Wake is once again purchasable. Alan Wake disappeared from all digital marketplaces around a year ago, supposedly due to an issue with music licenses. As we just learned, however, Microsoft was able to renegotiate that license and get the game back on the market. While it is not available just yet, Remedy’s Communications Director, Thomas Puha, was able to confirm that the game will once again be purchasable one the Xbox Marketplace in the near future.
Fortunately, I was one of lucky few to get my hands on the Steam copy before it was too late. If you haven’t played it yet, definitely give it a shot. It’s a fun action horror game with a strong Twilight Zone vibe. If you ask me, the game is well worth the asking price, especially since the entire series is on sale for $5 right now and that’s like the price of a fast food sandwich.
You can get your hands on a copy of Alan Wake on Steam here and on GOG here. Have you gotten a chance to play Alan Wake yet? Let us know your thoughts on the game in the comments below, and check out our official review.
