trivard676An “extremely trusted source” has leaked to the gaming blog xblafans.com that the upcoming Alan Wake game previously alluded to by Remedy is entitled Alan Wake: Night Springs. The source also revealed that the title will be an XBLA exclusive.
Hmm…that kind of contradicts the statement that Remedy had made previously about available platforms (meaning more than one) available for the next title. However, it does go quite in line with the statements also made that this next title was definitely going to be a game, and that it would give fans of the series more of what they loved, yet at the same time attract even more fans to the series.
XBLAfans.com announced that they also have screencaps, but have been requested not to post them at this time. So we guess we’re just going to have to wait to see what the game even looks like.
What do you think? Would Remedy make another exclusive Xbox title after all of those statements made that it wasn’t their idea to can the PC or PS3 versions of the game? Or is this source to be trusted?
If only we had an official Remedy statement to straighten things out, eh?
