JBoc924You can probably imagine how shocked I was when Microsoft’s E3 press conference earlier this week concluded and there was no word on the next Alan Wake project (rumored to be an XBLA title called Night Springs). After being surprised by its absence I started thinking to myself: What if this new Alan Wake project is for the Playstation 3? Yeah, crazy right? Well, Sony’s conference came and went and no Alan Wake news came from it as well. So, what happened?
According to Microsoft Studios chief Phil Spencer the upcoming Alan Wake project still hasn’t been signed with any publisher. He went on to state that despite Alan Wake not selling as much as they had hoped he’s still eager to work with Remedy once again in the future. This new Alan Wake title’s future, though, is uncertain.
