Remedy Entertainment officially announced the release date for the upcoming Alan Wake 2 DLC, titled Lake House. This new expansion will be available in October, just in time for Halloween, adding a chilling element to the already thrilling game. Remedy debuted the new DLC with a trailer at Sony’s recent State of Play livestream event.
The Lake House DLC introduces a new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake, where players will explore a Federal Bureau of Control research station. According to the developers, this expansion will feature the character Kiran Estevez, an FBC agent portrayed by Janina Gavankar. Players will experience the terrifying consequences of failed experiments as reality clashes with the ominous forces of the Dark Place.
The expansion follows the June release of the Night Springs DLC. It’s also a part of the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition bundle. Although no exact release date has been confirmed, the DLC’s eerie setting makes it ideal for Halloween. Don’t miss out on this one, especially if you enjoy the Remedy Connected Universe. This expansion seems like a must-play.
The Alan Wake 2 The Lake House DLC will launch this October for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
