If there’s one thing Silent Hill fans can agree on, series composer Akira Yamaoka is not only brilliant and a key part of what made the franchise great, but also a damn talented composer. From the industrial horror sounds of the original Silent Hill score to the trip-hop rock of Silent Hill 3 and onward, the man created a sound unlike anything else in the gaming marketplace.
Well, if you live in the United Kingdom, and love Akira’s work on the series, you’re in luck! Just announced via Yamaoka’s official facebook page, Akira will be performing select tunes from the series with a live band and guest DJs in the UK starting October 29th-November 3rd. Tickets will be available from 9 am on Friday, UK time at seetickets.com.
