Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, the horror-themed Action-RPG from American McGee’s studio Spicy Horse, has been released today on Spicy World. A Steam version of the game will follow shortly afterwards on February 25th.
The game was delayed earlier due to worries about the quality of the final product, but the open-beta remained around for people to enjoy. The Kickstarter campaign for Akaneiro is currently at 82% and has a few hours left before ending, so if you like what you see, then you can help improve this free game by donating a little cash. Paypal support has been added a while back and you can net yourself some neat in-game bonuses.
The game can be played in a browser or by downloading a client. Regardless of which one you prefer, the game demands an internet connection from you. The coming few hours will be nerve-wrecking over at Spicy Horse, so let’s hope that fundraiser gets the final 18% it needs!
