50 new games pass through the Steam Greenlight

Greenlight

Another fifty games have accumulated enough votes to pass through the Steam Greenlight service. Though a lot of these are not that interesting for die-hard horror fans, I did find a few titles worth mentioning.

Ghostship Aftermath has you investigate a Dreadnought-class space ship after all communication with the vessel was lost; it promises multiple story-lines, a focus on atmosphere and random events to keep the players tense. I-NFECTED, on the other hand, takes place on good, old earth, but is supposedly just as scary. The game’s Greenlight page states that it’s a classic survival-horror game with limited resources, a fixed camera and moral choices.

Kholat is an adventure game based on the Dyatlov Pass incident, a mysterious event that led to the death of nine hikers. The game will have you navigate on your own with a map and compass as you try to find the supernatural truth behind the so-called “incident”. Poltergeist: Pixelated Horror reverses the roles and puts you in the shoes of the fearsome ghost and focuses on trying to scare the tenants of a mansion.

Wishful Lie (Forget Me Not Annie) is the last interesting game on the list today and will be a free-to-play, psychological-horror game with puzzles and platforming in it. The story revolves around a schizophrenic girl who traverses between different worlds.
