Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles Enemies

ZOMBIE
Zombie Infection with T-Virus in a human host results with this. It has a severe necrotic effect on the host due to their metabolism, and they need to feed on fresh meat in order to survive. They have no intelligent behaviour and are driven only by their urges, and so they are easy to either kill or avoid. In this primative stage of transformation, they are also very slow.

LEECH ZOMBIE
Leech Zombie Leech Zombies are one of the most dangerous enemies you encounter in Resident Evil 0. They are very resistant to damage and can cause a lot of damage. Their weak spot is fire which you can use to your advantage with your napalm-rounds. Before dying the Leech Zombies will explode and cause damage to anyone nearby.

CERBERUS
Cerberus This is the result of infusing the T-Virus with a dog. They can attack either singularly or in packs, and the best way to defeat them is by using a shotgun. Not too much trouble to kill, but dangerous if you have low health.

BAT
Bat Small flying rodents infected by the T-virus. They have not increased in size but are now much more aggressive.

INFECTED BAT
Infected Bat A giant bat created by secondary infection from the T-virus. It can summon other bats nearby using its piercing screech.

TYRANT PROTOTYPE
Tyrant Prototype A failed Tyrant experiment. It became too unstable and had to be disposed of. Though unstable and uncontrollable, it is still agile, fast and strong. With its razor sharp claws it can impale in an instant.

CROW
Crow Our old friends, the crows. Nothing a real RE fan should be feared of.

LEECH
Leech Leeches, mutated due to the T-Virus, attack in swarms and suck your blood. The only problem is that they lay their eggs into your body during the sucking process. If this happens you should get medical equipment immediately.

STINGER
Stinger The Scorpion is a boss monster with huge claws. This mutated animal is about 3 meters high and armored heavily. You should use bigger weapons against it.

ELIMINATOR
Eliminator These T-Virus infected monkeys are ferocious and bloodthirsty beasts. They are insanely fast and agile and usually attack in groups.

LURKER
Lurker These huge mutated frogs populate the watery areas of the laboratory. They have the ability to latch their tongue on to you and start dragging you close to them. If you’re unable to break free then they’ll simply eat you alive.

LEECH QUEEN
Leech Queen After being assasinated by Umbrella Dr. James Marcus was infected by one of the leeches he was experimenting on turning him into a Queen Leech with the ability to control the hordes of leeches. This is his true form in which you must fight him in the final battle.

SPIDER
Spider There is only a small amount of them in the whole game. Not an enemy where you need to think about a special tactic for defence. Just watch out for the poison.

KILLER BEE
Killer Bee The T-Virus infused with a wasp. They emit a strong poison and have a high level of agility, making them difficult to hit. The best course of action is to run and avoid these, or kill them with a knife.

YAWN
Yawn A snake mutated by the T-Virus. It appears twice in game, both times which you have to kill it. You have to kill it the first time so it will retreat and leave one of the 4 medals for you. If you’re bitten by it, you will be poisoned and an extra cutscene will occur, where either character has to use serum in the medical room. You must kill it in the second confrontation so you can progress with the game.

PLANT 42
Plant 42 This plant grew out of control in the Guardhouse, with its roots underground to absorb water. It can be destroyed by applying V-Jolt to the roots, or alternatively destroyed with a flamethrower.

NEPTUNE
Neptune Sharks infused with the T-Virus. Ultimately stopped being made as a B.O.W as it was inefficient, as they could only fight in water. They broke out of their tank and swim underground, and are efficient killers. However, once the water has been drained, they are left vulnerable and can easily be killed with a knife or handgun.

HUNTER
Hunter These are a result of combining a fertilized human egg with reptilian DNA, and applying T-Virus along the way. These are the Alpha models, and are very effective at killing you. If you’re on Caution, they can instantly kill you by swiping off your head. The best way to kill them is with a shotgun blast which will knock them down, then shooting them again as soon as they get back up. If you’re on Cautioned health, it is strongly advised to avoid rooms with these creatures in until you can get your health back up.

BLACK TIGER
Black Tiger The result of infusing the T-Virus with a spider host. They are poisonous and should well be avoided. They are also much larger in size than a normal spider.

CHIMERA
Chimera These are B.O.Ws created by infusing T-Virus infected human DNA to T-Virus infected fly DNA. It is aggressive but has set attack patterns due to the inherent intelligence of a fly. They are fairly dangerous and can crawl on ceilings, however this project was abandoned and instead replaced by the Hunter.

TYRANT
Tyrant This Tyrant is a T-002 model, created after the inefficient Proto Tyrant. It is made by infusing T-Virus into a human host, however only very few people have the correct genetic code to become a Tyrant; the rest would become zombies. This model was scrapped as it had a very low level of intelligence, no sentient behaviour and it attacked anyone in sight, thus regarding it useless as a B.O.W. This type was not mass produced.

LISA TREVOR
Lisa Trevor The daughter of George Trevor (designer of the Mansion) was captured by Umbrella and is used for research purposes. While already being infected with the T-Virus she still is looking for her mother. Poor thing.

MUTANT PLANT
Mutant Plant A plant, infected with the T-Virus. You are able to kill it by feeding it with some yummy chemicals. Don’t destroy the green and red herbs though!

ADDER
Adder A small poisonous snake infected with the T-virus. These will leap up at your face to try and bite you.

LICKER
Licker The Licker is created by directly injecting a human with the T-virus. Completely blind, it is forced to navigate by hearing alone. It can climb walls and has massive claws.

LARGE ROACH
Sliding Worms Cockroaches that have grown in size due to the T-virus. Dangerous in swarms.

GRAVEDIGGER
Gravedigger The Grave digger is a giant worm-like creature that digs through earth and makes tunnels in the ground. You will meet it two times in the game and the main fight will take place in the grave yard. Thats why we call him Gravedigger.

NEMESIS
Nemesis Created by infecting a T-103 Tyrant with a Nemesis parasite. This B.O.W. will pursue its target relentlessly and can even use weaponry.

IVAN
Ivan Sergei’s specially re-engineered batch of T-103s. They have a greater degree of understanding, augmented targeting and can pass for human.

T.A.L.O.S.
T.A.L.O.S. T-A.L.O.S stands for Tyrant Armored Lethal Organic System. It uses an armor-plated T-103 as its base and is armed with an MRL (Multiple Rocket Launcher). Umbrella has tested it against soldiers, tanks and gunships and it defeated them all. A specially implanted chip allows the Red Queen to control it.

SERGEI VLADIMIR
Sergei Vladimir After injecting himself with a virus, Sergei mutates into what is almost an insect-like Tyrant. The appendages sprouting from him can bind to form one massive claw.

TYRANT REMAINS
Tyrant Remains A wounded Tyrant that has undergone a violent mutation and is near death. It will try to stop you from escaping if it’s the last thing it does.
