Agony is a very unique take to the survival horror genre, as it throws you into the depths of hell which you can only escape by possessing its inhabitants, human and demon alike. The game features no combat, but strong stealth elements and a focus on exploration through the game’s grotesque landscape.
We were able to play a short alpha demo of Agony at Gamescom. It’s visually stunning and gross at the same time. It’s a puzzling game and we’re intrigued to find out more when it releases sometime later in 2017.
