Do you enjoy a good, terrible, early 2000s horror movies? Well so do we, which is why we chose 2003’s Ghost Ship, a just garbage movie that has a charm all its own. A perfect storm of all the early 2000s horror tropes: jarring tone shifts thanks to the music of the era, goofy kills, and that weird slow-mo where the framerate is also reduced so it looks blurry. Revel in one of the best mass-kills on the silver screen (as long as we aren’t counting Brain Dead‘s lawnmower scene), and chuckle at a man who’s brain turns off at the sight of tits. There’s so much more to unpack, and you can do it with us on this month’s commentary track! Remember, in this movie you Sea Evil… because I really can’t get over that actually being the film’s tagline.
