Polish developer Techland, in collaboration with composer Olivier Derivière (Streets of Rage 4, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Vampyr) and Black Screen Records, will be releasing a special vinyl edition of the Dying Light 2 Stay Human soundtrack. The soundtrack will be released on two vinyl records that reflect the features of the game, story, and world, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the sounds of the dark, post-apocalyptic world of the game.
Pre-orders for the vinyl album and standard CD of the upcoming survival horror action role-playing game have begun and the release is planned for February 11, 2022.
In a recent press statement, the soundtrack’s composer, Olivier Derivière, said:
I am delighted to have this 2 vinyl edition of my Dying Light 2 Stay Human soundtrack. On the first disc, you will follow the story of the main character and his personal journey through the city of Villedor. Like in the game, you will discover the different factions and the difficult choices he will have to take. The second disc is more about the world, its environments and dangers but through adversity, there is always time for comfort and joy. It will be a great journey for any listener and, I hope, a real treat for the players.
The vinyl album is available for pre-order through Black Screen Records. The soundtrack will also be available on standard CD. The estimated shipping date is Feb. 11th, 2022.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches February 4, 2022, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
