cjmelendez_Troy Baker, voice actor for numerous videogame roles such as: Snow in Final Fantasy XIII; Booker in Bioshock Infinite, and most recently Vincent in Catherine has been announced as the new voice for James Sunderland.
Troy will be replacing Guy Cihi’s performance in the HD port of Silent Hill 2. I fear for Troy for picking up this monumental role from the survival horror genre. Fans have already posted comments with more than just concerns for the new voiceovers, but like I said before, I’m not hating on them yet.
We’ve all heard one unfinished scene, and Troy’s acting is something I am a fan of. His role as Vincent was a personal favorite. Catherine’s voice acting was top notch in my eyes (ears), and it would be interesting to hear the role done by someone new, but talented.
