Update: Corrected news post to reflect that the game will be entering, not exiting beta status.
A small update from Frictional Games, the independent studio behind such popular titles as Penumbra and Amnesia: SOMA, their latest first person horror title, is just a few weeks shy of entering beta status.
Posted to their official Facebook page was a message from the team declaring that the game’s completion out of alpha status into beta is estimated to occur in about 4 weeks times. Frictional is still polishing the game but is excited to finally reach the homestretch. I’m sure many of us are, as well.
Let’s hope we hear some rumblings of an official release date come this Spring.
