Bethesda has today announced that they will be teaming up with Dark Horse Comics to release artbooks. Revealed were books on Wolfenstein (pictured above), The Evil Within, and Dishonored.
The first to release will be “The Art of Wolfenstein: The New Order”: a hardcover art book featuring 200 pages of concept art, design details, character designs, and developer comments, from the upcoming shooter. The Wolfenstein art book will release on May 27.
The next item that I’m sure fans of this site will care about is “The Art of The Evil Within”. No details about this book have been revealed, but my guess is that it will contain a similar variety of content to the Wolfenstein book. “The Art of The Evil Within” will be released in August, and “Dishonored: The Dunwall Archives” in November.
My money will definitely be going to The Evil Within art book. I can hardly wait for that game to release, and permitting that the game is good, an art book would be quite the treat to own.
